In celebration of Deaf Awareness Week, which runs until May 8, Holborn Community Association is highlighting The British Library’s new guide to developing learning activities for families of D/deaf children – which you can read here.
Following on from the success of Rose Ayling-Ellis winning Strictly Come Dancing and the BSL (British Sign Language) Bill being backed by the Government in March, The British Library decided to add to the celebration of the D/deaf community by launching its useful leaflet on May 4 alongside likeminded businesses in the community.
