Holborn Community Association continues to run its arts and media activities with thanks to zoom (and lots of creativity). This term we are lucky to have local young person Chace join us as our new Media Arts Intern, currently working remotely to support our Digital Media Program for children and young people.
We asked Chace to tell us his favourite quote. He chose Jahseh Onfroy, an American rapper, singer, and songwriter who said: “creativity and evolution is the purpose of humankind”.
Chace explains “this quote means something to me as in this day and age, we need to find the creativity and passions in us to evolve as people and move forward in life. This internship will help me move forward to be what I want to be when I’m older which is a youth worker”.
Chloe tells us Chace has been “providing peer support in our online Media Arts Club for young people, and developing skills in marketing and social media. He is also in the process of directing a series of videos about his experience in lockdown – we can’t wait to see what he comes up with”.
