Male Carers do creative art!

The first session of Male Carers group started on Monday 17th February. A vibrant community group, created to support male carers who live or work locally to the Camden/Holborn area.

With the focus being building social connections and improving well-being, this group offers a relaxed space to connect and take part in engaging activities.

The activites will be various creative arts, led by artists from Engage. The commencing sitting involving jelly plate printing, the men had fun rubbing jelly onto paints and then printing onto plates.

There was a real sense of brotherhood as the participants formed a companionship, sharing personal reflections, memories and narratives.

The next session involved printing using geometric/architectural patterns. In the coming weeks, the group will also be marbling, heat pressing and print making.

The sessions are free and a great opportunity to make new friends!

Thanks to Camden Council for making this possible.
