We have two venues available for hire at HCA – Holborn House Community Centre and Millman Street Community Centre. They are located in WC1 near Holborn/Chancery Lane/Farringdon stations.

Venue Hire at Holborn House
Holborn House Community Centre offers three spaces of different sizes suitable for sporting activity, team away days, workshops or short term office rental for small teams. Holborn House is an award winning building (Civic Trust, London RIBA) offering a space with high spec and superior feel. The centre is fully accessible and maintained to high standards (accredited through the national Quest facilities management framework).
Emerald Hall
Our main hall offering ample space for a range of sports, physical activities.
- 124 sq.m floor space/5m high ceiling
- Rooflights across the entirety of space
- Fully accessible with lift access
- Adjacent changing rooms with showers/lockers
- Wheelchair accessible changing spaces
- Sprung floor ideal for dance, gymnastics, martial arts
Events
The Emerald Hall is available to hire for events (some weekday availability / Sunday)
Meeting Rooms and Workshop Space
- Use of tables/chairs, kitchen off hall with serving hatch
- Wi-fi and intercom access to street entrance to manage entry
- Lift access/baby changing facilities
We have two high spec spaces available upstairs at Holborn House. Both have wi-fi and intercom access to the street entrance to manage entry. We are fully accessible with disabled access/lift access. Tea and coffee amenties are also available. Refreshments are available by arrangement (additional cost). Both rooms have flexible spaces with natural daylight from our window/window wall.
Green Room
- Available for meetings, workshops with groups up to 10.
- Ideal for group therapy sessions, rehearsals/read throughs or adult learning classes
- Tables and chairs comfortably seating 10 (room configuration can be adapted as needed)
- Room size
- Screen with wi-fi connection for presentations and flip chart stands available for workshops
- Tea and coffee making facilities
Workspace
- Available for meetings, 1:1 sessions and workshops up to 4 participants
- Ideal office/base for small teams – available for sole use on short/medium term basis
